Creating a General Profile


Welcome to our new Taleo recruiting program. If this is your first time logging in since April 14, 2011, you will be required to complete a new profile.

 

Although the website may look the same, we have made some major changes. This video will guide you in creating your new profile. Once your profile is complete and submitted, you can apply to active job postings.

Steps:

  1. Begin by accessing the employment section of the website.

     

    In this example we will access and create a General Profile.

  2. The Access my profile link is located  further down the page.

     

     

    Click the scrollbar.

  4. Click the New User button.

  5. Review the Privacy Agreement.

     

    Click the I Accept button.

  6. Enter a User Name and Password.

     

    Note:  The User Name field cannot contain spaces.

     

    Please take a moment to record your user name and password.

  7. Click the Register button.

  8. Click the Job Field drop-down menu to see the list of options.

  9. Here you will select an appropriate Job Field for your general profile.

     

    In this example we will select the Human Resources Job Field.

     

    Click the Human Resources list item.

  10. Click the Job Sub-Field drop-down menu to see the list of options.

  11. Here you will select an appropriate Job Sub-Field for your General Profile.

     

    In this example we will select the Recruitment & Retention Job Sub-Field.

     

    Click the Recruitment & Retention list item.

  12. Each Job Field employment preference must be added to the list.

     

    Click the Add to List button.

  14. You can continue to add to the list but in this example, we will only choose one.

     

    Click the Save and Continue button.

  15. Click the Country drop-down menu to see the list of options.

  16. Location preferences are also indicated and added to the list.

     

    Click the Canada list item.

  17. In this example the Country, Province, and Municipality preferences have been selected.

  19. Click the I want to upload a resume. option.

  20. To proceed, browse and attach your resume here.

     

    Click the Browse button.

  22. You will need to complete your personal information.  Every field with a red asterisk is a mandatory field.

     

    Click in the First Name field.

    Use the Hints below to assist you in completing the application process:

     

    1. When adding Education or Work Experience, Candidates can use the Select link, or type in a name to display a filtered list.  If the item is not in the list, then the candidate can type it in.

     

    2. At any point during the application process the candidate can Save as Draft or Quit.  A candidate can also click on the page name (box) to access that page and make changes once that page has been completed. 

     

    3. Click the Save and Continue button to progress to the Summary page.

  25. The resume parsing option will automatically fill in the information from your resume, such as work experience.

     

    You may edit this information to ensure all details are included.

     

    Click the Save and Continue button.

    You may also edit this information to ensure all details, such as certifications, are included.

    Click the Vertical scrollbar.

  29. The Additional Attachments page allows you the opportunity to attach additional information such as a cover letter or Certifications.

     

    Click the Save and Continue button.

  30. The Summary Page allows you to review and edit all the information entered on the previous screens.

     

    If you are not ready to submit your profile, you may Save as Draft.

  31. You do have the option to make changes to your profile at any time.

     

    After you have completed and reviewed your General Profile you can submit it.

     

    Click the Submit button.

You have successfully completed your profile and are now ready to apply for future job opportunities.
